PESHAWAR: Police foiling a terror attempt on the eve of Eid Mild-un-Nabi raided a warehouse in the vicinity of Paharipur police station and recovered a heavy arms cache on Friday here, Geo News reported.
Sources said that among the arms seized by the police included 100 repeaters, 20,000 bullets besides arrested one accused named Noor Muhammad, who is said to be a citizen of Afghanistan.
Police said that these weapons could have be used for terrorism on the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, while they have made special arrangement under a security plan for the occasion. Some 1300 policemen are performing the security duty within the city.
