FAISALABAD: A 24-year man is being treated in a local hospital after unknown people cut out his tongue two days after his abduction, Geo News reported.
Police claimed the boy was accused of kidnapping three girls including his fiancée. The police said that two people Zulfiqar and his son Wasim had been arrested for their involvement in mutilating Muhammad Asif’s tongue to avenge the purported abduction of their three girls.
Police sources said that Asif, a resident of Ghulam Muhammadabad, went missing from his house two days ago before being abandoned on Jhang road with his tongue mutilated. Rescue workers rushed to the area after receiving information and shifted the injured to Allied Hospital.
However, Asif’s sister narrated a different story and claimed the abductors had demanded Rs500,000 ransom to release his brother. But, they cut out his tongue after the money was not paid.
