Armed assailants kill 10 in Karachi

KARACHI:At least 10 people have been killed in separate incidents of firing in different parts of Karachi on Saturday, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to Police a man was killed in Haidery in a firing incident. The deceased could not be identified.

In Orangi Town Sector 13-L, unidentified men opened fire killing the prayer caller of a local mosque, Noor ul Bashar. Two people were also injured in the incident including an office bearer of a religious party.

Two more people were killed in similar incidents of firing in the same vicinity. One of them was identified as Waqar, an activist of a religious group.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a shop in Surjani Town killing 1 person identified as Sabir.
