SKARDU: Water from a lake that was formed by a massive landslide in River Baltoro has started receding, Geo News reported.
Baltistan Commissioner said road leading to K2, the second highest mountain on Earth, would be reopened today (Sunday) at 12 pm for the traffic.
On January 13, 350 x 800 mountain landslide fell down in the river in the suburbs of Hoto on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The water also flooded agricultural lands and uprooted hundreds of trees.
