ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan, Sharat Sabharwal, Monday said Indian authorities did not sent Pakistani hockey players back but the hockey league management, Geo News reported.
“The hockey players were urged to go back given the situation, which the mangers of the event deemed unfavorable”, said he talking to newsmen here.
To a question he said the incidents that came to pass across LoC lately did tense up the situation for a while but overall things were not as bad as they were perceived.
“A number of Pakistani actors and players are traveling to India in the face of recent tensions”, Sabharwal said.
He said the good thing was the dialogue process between both the countries was on the track despite all recent estrangements.
