LAHORE: A delegation of Difa-e-Pakistan Council met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif and invited him to join hands with DPC, Geo News reported on Monday.
The delegation led by Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, met Mian Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwand.
Samiul Haq, on the occasion, also expressed condolences on death of Nawaz’s brother.
Maulana Ahmed Ludhyanvi, Allama Ibtisam Ilahi Zaheer, Abdur Rauf Siddiqui and other leaders of DPC were also present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed prevailing political situation of the country.
Talking to Geo News after the meeting, Maulana said, Nawaz Sharif and DPC had agreed that in the present situation all the political forces should give importance to national interest and should join hands on single agenda.
To a question, he said the PML-N leader had assured him to consider the invitation of DPC.
