ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quad-e-Azam (PML-Q) senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that had Shahbaz Sharif had not wrapped up their projects Punjab would not have plunged in the darkness, Geo News reported .
"We practice the politics of progress and development of the country. We work for the welfare of the people. Those who are against the people will not be able to stand before us anywhere”, said he addressing a gathering here on Saturday.
He said N-League did not complete any project other than Jaati Umrah".
Federal Minister, Ch Wajahat Hussain, and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
Elahi said that PML-Q had started many projects for the welfare of poor including free healthcare and education facilities, but PML-N frustrated them all.
“PML-Q had started free education in 64 thousand schools of the province for the first time in the history of Pakistan, provided stipends to the female students but present provincial government wrapped it up shutting the doors of education on the poor girl students”.
Alas, Shahbaz Sharif hammered the final nail in the coffin of our system by establishing Daanish Schools, Elahi said sadly.
