LHC approves bail plea of 7 young doctors

Lahore: The Lahore High Court on Thursday accepted bail plea of seven doctors belonging to the Young Doctors Association (YDA) who were booked for torturing a senior doctor in Gunjranwala.

The seven doctors including Dr Kashif and Dr Ehtasham had moved the LHC for their bail. The court ordered their release on bail after prosecution and defence counsel concluded their arguments.

The LHC approved the bail against surety bonds and directed the seven accused to apologize to the senior doctor, whom them had allegedly subjected to torture.

It is to mention here that the doctors were arrested for torturing Dr Anwar, MS at Gujranwala Government Hospital.
