TIRAH: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) warplanes bombed militant hideouts n Tirah Valley in Khyber tribal region on Saturday, killing at least eight and injuring many others.
Security officials said the jets pounded hideouts of banned group Lashkar-e-Islam in Bazaar Zakha Khel and Aka Khel areas in Khyber Agency. They said many militants escaped from the areas taking with them their injured fighters.
They added that members of Peace Lashkar (pro-government militia) took over control of the posts vacated by the militants.
