Pervaiz Elahi blames Shahbaz for gas, power crisis in Punjab
SAMBRIAL: Deputy prime minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Sunday said representatives of PML-N are 'deaf and dumb' and the onus of today's gas and electricity crisis in the province falls squarely on Shahbaz Sharif.

Addressing a public meeting here, he said had Shahbaz Sharif agreed to the proposal put forth by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the duration of power outage would have dropped to only four hours per day. "If today there is no gas and electricity in the province, it is Shahbaz Sharif who is responsible for this," he snapped.

Slamming the Punjab administration's performance, Pervaiz Elahi said billions of rupees were squandered in projects like Aashiyana Scheme, Tandoor Scheme and laptop giveaways.

"Shahbaz Sharif has thrown the Punjab into bankruptcy by commissioning the bus service in the province," he maintained.

He said daily 100 robberies are happening in Lahore, the Capital city of the Punjab; 'is it a good governance?' And, he added, the supply of petrol to the police patrol, whose job is to nab the thieves and robbers, has been suspended.

"Today neither someone's honour is safe nor life or property," he regretted.

He said Nawaz Sharif, President PML-N, has now started talking about 'bad governance' in Sindh, 'I ask him (Nawaz) whether there is good governance in the Punjab?'

"Nawaz Sharif laments disturbed law and order situation in Sindh. 'Mian Sahab' one should cast a critical glance at the state of one's own house first," he advised.
