Dr. Qadri arrives SC to argue his own case
ISLAMABAD: Dr. Tahirul Qadri Monday morning arrived Supreme Court to argue in favor of his petition for the re-constitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which the apex court is scheduled to take up shortly here, Geo News reported.

SC three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and comprising of Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed will hear the case.

In view of the urgency and national importance of this case it has been placed at serial number one.

Tahrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ)’s Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri is of the view that the ECP was formed unconstitutionally.

Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also endorsed Dr. Qadri’s stance on the ECP and has demanded for the change of the existing provincial election commissioners.
