MQM's pullout not to make any difference: Khursheed Shah
KARACHI: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Khursheed Shah Sunday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)'s pullout from the ruling coalition will not make any difference.

"We had been allies but now we will contest elections separately," Shah said while talking to media persons here at Karachi airport.

He said every political party has its own agenda and that MQM had made its own decision to part ways with the ruling coalition.

To a question, the Pakistan People's Party senior leader said consensus has not yet been achieved over the name of caretaker prime minister, but added that consultations on the matter are underway.

The Federal Minister condemned in strongest terms the deadly blast in Quetta that killed several dozens of people belonging to Hazara community. He, however, added that events like these take place in every government's rule.

"The situation can be hoped to improve if we were voted to power again in the upcoming elections," he claimed.
