Quetta Carnage: Demos, sit-ins continue across Karachi
KARACHI: Solidarity rallies and sit-ins, staged in different areas of Karachi, continued through the night of Sunday and into the morning of Monday, resulting in the shutdown of most of the parts of the port city of Pakistan, Geo News reported.

Hundreds of protestors including women and children holding banners and placards are shouting slogans against massacre of innocent citizens in Quetta demanding justice.

On the other hand some incidents of vehicular arson were also reported from different parts of the city in which unknown vandals torched two passenger buses in Malir and Shar-e-Faisal Colony Gate areas.

Most of the main arteries of the metropolis remained closed for the traffic as the sit-inners had been blocking them for the whole night.

Malir 15, University Road Star Gate, Ancholi, Ayesha Manzil, M A Jinnah Road, Abbsa Town, Rizvia Society, Numaish Chowrangi, etc are among the areas where the protests are in full swing right now.

Shia Ulema Council, Jaafria Alliance, and Majlis-e Wahdat-e Muslimeen, led the protests and sit-ins.

Mualana Sadiq Raza Taqvi and other leaders demanded to carry out a military operation in Quetta so as the purge the city from terrorists.
