ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for religious affairs Khursheed Shah said on Monday that the attack on Hazara community in Quetta was an intelligence failure, adding that deployment of the army is not the solution of the problem.
Talking to media men here, Khursheed Shah said that governor’s rule was imposed in Balochistan on peoples' demand but terrorists challenged it as well.
He said that holding elections for National Assembly and three provincial assemblies in a day and conducting polls for Punjab Assembly on other day is not possible.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wants to make its image as part of opposition and not of the government, Shah said.
If Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wanted Abdul Hafeez Shaikh for the position of caretaker Prime Minister then PPP would not put objection on his name, he added.
