FC kills 4 in operation as protest against Quetta carnage continues

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps conducted a search operation in Quetta’s suburbs, killing four and arresting several suspects as Hazara community continued their protest in the city with bodies of Kirani blast victims unburied.

In a predawn raid the paramilitary troops entered Barezai area of Qambrani and seized heavy cache of arms and explosive from the possession of several suspects held during the operation.

Four suspects were killed in a shootout that took place as law enforcers began search operation in the area.

The operation came after a massacre carried out by a banned out fit against the Hazara community which led to killing of over 80 people, the second horrific attack against the ethnic Hazaras within the short span of a month.
