Hazara areas in Quetta to be declared as Red Zone: Malik

TEHRAN: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that areas of Quetta’s Hazara community would be declared Red Zone with additional deployment of police contingent, Geo News reported on Tuesday.

Speaking to media in Tehran, the minister claimed that engine and chases numbers of the truck used in the Kirani road blast had been traced and further investigation was underway.

Malik said that Quetta tragedy was a conspiracy to spark secretion violence in the country. He announced that he would meet leaders of Hazara community in Quetta today.

The minister further claimed that as many as 30 suspects involved in sectarian violence were arrested in Karachi.
