ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan, while hearing suo moto notice case of Hazara killings in Quetta, rejected ISI report and ordered secretary defence to submit it again, Geo News reported.
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case here Wednesday. Secretary Defence presented ISI report in the court.
The chief justice in his remarks said the court queries were answered, adding all such information had also been reported in the newspapers. He questioned why intelligence agencies did not share information prior to the incident?
Defence Secretary Lt. Gen. (retd) Asif Yaseen asserted that intelligence information on everything at every time is not available, agencies make a comprehensive report after combining small and minor information, however, sometimes the image is not clear enough.
The court rejected the report and ordered the defence secretary to re-submit it.
