QUETTA: As the coffins were taken to the Hazara Town graveyard for burial of the victims of carnage, the women protesters occupied the graves demanding that they be buried first before the burial of their beloved ones.
The heart-rending scene enraged some among the protesters resorted to aerial firing that led to cross firing by the police creating panic and commotion that halted the burial process, however, no one was hurt, Geo News reported.
Earlier, a report said that the Shia Ulemas succeeded in pacifying the heirs of the victims, especially the hundreds of women who felt betrayed by the sudden announcement of ending the sit-in and burial on Wednesday at 9.00 A.M, while the coffins though belatedly were carried to the graveyard.
