Protesting lawyers demand formation of high court bench in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Lawyers who were on strike and boycotting the court’s proceedings for the last ten days have staged sit-in in front of district council, demanding the formation of high court bench in Faisalabad.

According to details, the protesting lawyers staged sit-in in district council on Wednesday which continued today as well.

Meanwhile, the district and session judge giving two days leave to lawyers informed Chief Justice of Lahore High Court about all the details.

The inspection team of LHC examined the tensed situation and the loss endured by the courts in Faisalabad. The report in this regard would be submitted to LHC chief justice.
