According to SSP operation Sadiq Dogar, police raided in various areas of Faisalabad and arrested a thousand of people who were flying kites and celebrating Basant while 150 cases have also been registered in different police stations.
Police also seized recovered kites and threads.
The actions were conducted due to violation of Anti-Kite Flying Act and section 144.
