Quetta/Karachi: Ahle-Sunnat Wal-Jamaat calls off sit-ins

QUETTA/KARACHI: Ahle-Sunnat Wal-Jamaat has ended a sit-in it was staging against the murder of it activists here in Quetta as well as Karachi, Geo News reported.

The religious party agreed to call their protest off after authorities assured them of complete cooperation, said the sources.

According to sources, the government officials gave their word to Ahle-Sunnat Wal-Jamaat leadership that all their demands would be seen through according to the law of the land.

After this convincing assurance the religious organization asked its workers to disperse peacefully.
