ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is still furious over the language used by Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain against female workers of the PTI.

Khan spoke with reporters outside his Bani Gala residence here on Tuesday and said: “I have never heard such language being used on TV anywhere in the world.”

The PTI chairman emphasised that he would not tolerate such derogatory language being used against women.

Khan was criticial of Pemra’s failure to take any action when Altaf Hussain’s speech was being broadcasted.

Khan said he would be responding to the MQM and announcing the future course of action in a news conference later today. The PTI chief also said that he would be travelling to Karachi.

On Monday, PTI chairman Imran Khan held a news conference where he was used harsh language to describe Altaf Hussain.

The PTI chief said he would be filing a defamation case against Altaf Hussain who had used derogatory language to describe female PTI workers during a speech. Imran Khan also called upon the MQM to separate itself from Altaf Hussian and its armed wing.

During the news conference Khan demanded that the government hand over two witnesses in the murder case of Dr Imran Farooq to British authorities. Khan further said he would write a letter to the British government over the Baldia Town tragedy.

The MQM responded to Khan condemning his derogatory remarks made against Altaf Hussain.

MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi termed the day as one of the darkest in Pakistan's political history. “The provocative manner in which Khan used derogatory, immoral and inflammatory language against MQM chief Altaf Hussain is highly condemnable," he said.
