PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) leader senator Haji Adeel Sunday said that his party for the sake of peace was ready to forgive Taliban shedding blood of their martyrs and appealed to the Taliban and the army for a ceasefire to hold talks, Geo News reported.
Talking to media here, he said that Taliban had asked Fazlur Rahman, Munawwar Hassan and Nawaz Sharif to stand as guarantors for talks with the government and added that the question arises who would be the guarantor of Taliban.
Regarding the creation of new province, Haji Adeel said that he disagreed with the para 1 of the presented bill relating to Bhawalpur-Janoobi Punjab province, as it says that any province’s territory could be expanded or shortened—it is very dangerous—we do not approve of this paragraph--if it is accepted then MQM would separate Karachi and Hyderabad in Sindh.
