JUI-F hosted APC underway in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Conference (APC) organized by Jamiat Ulema-e -Islam- Fazlur Rehman (JUI-F) is underway in Islamabad, to discuss the mechanism to restore peace, Geo News reported.

JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman earlier, reviewed the arrangements for the APC at Convention Centre, Islamabad. While talking to the media, he told that 30 political parties and other significant leaders will participate in the moot. He was of the view that it’s pertinent to take the Pakistan Army and other security agencies into confidence as well.

Maulana Fazl also said that whatever decision the prime minister and opposition leader would take regarding the caretaker set up, his party will accept it.

He further said that people in FATA wants to restore peace in their area and are also making diligent efforts in this regard. But now, they want nation-wide support for this cause.

The JUI-F chief said that such efforts were also done in the past but they were not successful.

He said that his party has extended the invitation to seminaries as well to unite on the same platform.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman appreciated the Taliban move for dialogue and termed it a positive initiative. He called them ‘intelligent’ as they have suggested the names of few political leaders.
