POL price hike withdrawal notification issued : OGRA

ISLAMABAD: The official notification withdrawing the price hike in POL products has been issued, reverting prices of petroleum products to their February 28 level, Geo News reported.

Chairman OGRA had earlier said, that price reversal notification will be issued before midnight tonight. He had further added, that prices are being reversed on the orders of prime minister, adding the authority has received directions for withdrawal of POL prices verbally.

Khan said the official notification to withdraw latest hike in prices would be issued after OGRA receives a written order from the ministry of petroleum. However, the announcement would be made in this regard before 12 midnight, he added.
