Protection of lives, property government’s top priority: Zardari

HYDERABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the government’s top priority is to provide security to the lives and properties of the people at every cost.

Addressing the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of a number of mega-development projects here on Saturday, President Zardari said that he has directed Sindh Chief Minister to give first priority to law and order situation.

He said the development projects initiated by the democratic government would bring prosperity in the country and provide enormous job opportunities to the youth.

Zardari urged the people of the country to pay taxes on their own, saying that his government wanted to end the role of middleman.

The president also directed the chief minister for redesigning of Hyderabad city.
