Two children killed as rain causes roof collapse in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Two children were killed and three persons sustained injuries when the roof of a fragile house collapsed due to continuous rains in Peshawar, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to police, the incident took place at Warsak Road where the roof of a house came down and killed two children. The house belonged to a man named Jumma Gul whose two children, 8-year-old Jalal and 3-year-old Isra, got killed in the incident.

Jumma Gul, his wife and 5-year-old daughter Bulbula also got injured who were shifted to hospital where they are said to be out of danger, police told.
