Indian officials have clearly disallowed their hockey team to play a series against Pakistan, hence the first hockey series to be played between the two nations since 2006 has once again been cancelled.
The series was supposed to be played on Indian soil from 5-15 April. This is the fourth time that a series has been cancelled for some reason or the other.
