Balochistan governor accepts resignations of 20 ministers

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Zulfiqar Magsi has accepted resignations of 20 provincial ministers from PPP, PML-Q, and likeminded group.

Twenty Balochistan ministers had tendered their resignations, giving warning that they would not accept what they called a caretaker government which two political parties - Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP) – want to impose on the province.

Political crisis took a new turn in Balochistan as the Opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi earned majority in the provincial assembly over Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.
