KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Altaf Hussain, Sunday night said his party’s 29th Foundation Day celebrations were plunged into sadness with the murders of party workers in Hyederabad, Geo News reported.
“Three of our dedicated workers were gunned down while they were busy making arrangements for the foundation day celebrations. Why does it happen with us on our big days? We can’t be sadder today”, he said tele-addressing MQM’s “vow renewal ceremony” in Karachi from London.
An aggrieved Altaf Hussain regretted the attack in the strongest possible words.
“I want to tell those who bathed our moments of joy in the blood of our own I come in peace, believe in peace, and want to propagate peace, but no one should take it as my weakness. You will see me in Pakistan the very moment my nation needed me to fight for its honour”, said the MQM leader.
He said I am not afraid of laying my life for my country.
“Riddle my body with bullets, cut me open, inflict any harm upon me, but remember, every drop of my blood would give rise to a tsunami of revolution. No army, no matter how large, or agencies, no matter how powerful can stop me from serving my country. Altaf’s blood is too hot for all his adversaries to freeze”, said he.
