Sindh Assembly likely to be dissolved today

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly is expected to be dissolved on Tuesday night, Geo News reported.

The announcement is likely to be made after a meeting between Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Syed Sardar Ahmed where they would also announce name of caretaker chief minister.

Sources said that the chief minister has also convened a meeting of his cabinet here today to discuss the situation.

Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi has emerged as the most favourite contender for the slot after the consultation between the government and the opposition, the sources added.
