FBR freezes accounts of PIA

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has seized the accounts of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) over non-payment of taxes, Geo News reported.

Sources said FBR seized PIA accounts over non-payment of more than Rs1.25 billion taxes.

Sources added that after accounts seizure, PIA even could not issue salaries and daily grants.
