Hafizabad: School principal seriously injured after acid attack

HAFIZABAD: A young principal of a private school suffered serious burns on his face, hand and arms when three unidentified bike riders threw acid on him in the vicinity of Mughalpura here on Tuesday.

According to police source, Sajjad Hussain Principal of Brooksfield School System was on way to his residence after closing the school, when the accused riding a bike threw acid on him resultantly his face, hand and arms suffered serious burns.

He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The police have registered a case but failed to trace the accused so far.

The motive of the offence could not be ascertained.
