ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Speaker National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday said looking at the results of Local Government elections he can now see his party winning in the General elections of 2018.

Talking to media persons here, Ayaz Sadiq asserted that it is high time the steps being carried out under the charade of rigging ended.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan should abandon the practice of targeting others on personal grounds and think in the larger interest of the country.

Ayaz Sadiq said PTI has allegedly submitted a false Affidavit with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), adding, if the commission failed to take action on this he would himself go and file a case of fraud.

He said there has been no manipulation in voter lists and termed the PTI’s petition in this regard as uncalled for. “I hope the ECP would dismiss PTI’s petition on merit,” he added.
