LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif Sunday alleged that ‘Zardari clique’ over the past five years mercilessly plundered the nation’s hard-earned money.
“The country could only be salvaged from the mire of existing problems if the people made a right decision in the elections,” Shahbaz said during his meeting with leaders of Pakistan Muslim Leagu-N from Kusoor, Shaikhupura, Nankana and Lahore.
The CM Punjab said that the people will never forget the gifts from former ‘corrupt’ government in the form of poverty, unemployment and loadshedding. “The idols of corruption will be smashed in the upcoming elections,” he hoped.
He said revolution and change cannot be brought about through hollow slogans.
