They said that his name would be put on the ECL as soon as they received any formal order in this regard.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency directed the immigration authorities to bar the former president from leaving Pakistan.
Musharraf landed in Karachi on March 24 to contest upcoming general election due on May 11.
