FAISALABAD: Founding father of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has stressed the need to empower young generation with quality education as the country could not prosper without it.
Addressing Value Education Conference jointly organized by the Mir Khalilur Rahman Foundation and a private sector school, Khan said that a large number of children didn’t go to school, adding desired results could not be achieved due to non-implementation of educational policies.
He said that trend of obtaining degrees and passing examinations through illegal means was increasing.
Khan also criticized the rulers for what he said for fighting US war, which he said, caused extremism in Pakistan.
