LAHORE: Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Dr. Nabila Tariq exchanged acrimonious words over issue of reserved seats in the parliament, Geo News reported on Tuesday.

According to sources, Saad Rafiq and Nabila Tariq had a quarrel over difference of opinion on reserved seat for women.

Nabila Tariq claimed that Saad Rafiq got her name removed from the list of reserved seats for women.

Nabila Tariq said the incident took place when she arrived at party’s secretariat to submit application for reserved seat where she discussed the matter with Saad Rafiq. She claimed that Saad used harsh words against her on the occasion.

However, Saad Rafique turned down the incident, saying that he could not even think of being unkind with any woman, adding that it was a baseless allegation.
