MULTAN: Fire broke out at a cloth market in Multan early Saturday morning that has damaged 20 shops while efforts are still underway to douse the flames, Geo News reported.
According to sources, fire broke out at Kalay Mandi Bazaar of Multan early in the morning that gutted 15 to 20 shops rapidly.
Eight fire tenders are still working to tame the blaze, however, congested streets are hampering the rescue efforts.
The electricity has been shut as a precautionary measure to avoid any other untoward situation.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately, sources added.
