QUETTA: Former member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ali Madad Jattak on Monday filed a petition in high court challenging his sentence given by Additional Session Judge in fake degree case, Geo News reported.
Ali Madad Jatak had been sentenced to a two years prison term and fined 10 thousand rupees by the court few days ago, after which he moved Balochistan High Court against the sentence.
The BHC accepting the review petition for hearing on April 15 summoned Election Commission official and prosecutor general.
Meanwhile, the hearing of fake degree case of ex-member of provincial assembly Shama Parveen Magsi was adjourned by Additional Session Judge till April 10.
