District Emergency Officer Multan Ahmed Kamal told media that the fire erupted in the paperboard manufacturing factory due to short-circuit. The injured was shifted to the Nishtar Hospital for treatment.
Rescue workers and staff of district administration were busy in dousing the flames but the blaze was still out of control.
