Rangers target, raid several areas in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers personnel are continuing targeted search operation in several areas of the metropolis after getting information about the presence of criminal elements in those areas, Geo News reported Friday.

According to sources, Rangers raided different areas including Frontier Colony in SITE and adjoining areas of airport during which the entry and exit points were sealed. Snap checking was also done meanwhile Rangers continued operation in the areas.

At least 800 commandos and female personnel are taking part in the action.

Sources told that operation was launched after getting the tip off regarding the presence of criminals and suspected persons in the areas.

Security forces are searching the residential apartment ‘Falak Naz’ on Shahrae Faisal near airport. The adjoining areas of the building were also searched and during the operation, the entrance of the building was sealed.
