ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Friday ordered the director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to seize the entire Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) record, Geo News reported.
A three-judge bench of the SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the CNG licenses case during the tenure of former premier Yusuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf.
During today’s hearing, the Chief Justice ordered the DG FIA to take over the entire record of OGRA pertaining to the CNG licenses. He continued saying that looting and plundering is prevalent in the entire country. The aim of the court is to protect the national asset.
