According to General Manager SSGC Mushtaq Siddiqui, a 16-inch diameter gas pipeline was exploded by unidentified outlaws near Maripur road.
A team of SSGC is busy in repairing work of the pipeline and the leakage of the gas has been stopped in the first place, he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that a huge explosion was heard at about 8 PM near Saddar Town among various others which created panic in the city.
