ISLAMABAD: Election tribunals would hear appeals against acceptance of nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and former military ruler Pervez Musharraf today, Geo News reported.
As many as five appeals were filed against the acceptance of Musharraf’s nomination papers from the National Assembly constituency in Chitral. The Election tribunal would hear all the pleas today.
An election tribunal would also hear an application against acceptance of nomination papers of PTI chief Imran Khan.
On Monday election tribunal allowed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif to run for upcoming election from Lahore.
