He said that the IMF grants loan on hard-terms, while process for grant of loan takes time.
Addressing the senate session here, Ishaq Dar said that due to prolonged process of the grant of IMF loan, caretaker government in its brief tenure could not finalize any agreement.
Senate session presided over by its Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari is in progress.
