LAHORE: Election Tribunal of Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected all the pleas filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on NA-122, Lahore and declared him eligible for polls, Geo News reported.
Five petitions were submitted against nomination papers of PTI chief on NA-122. In the pleas objections were raised against Imran Khan that he had concealed his assets and he could not qualify article 62 and 63.
The appellant tribunal dismissed all the pleas and allowed Imran to run for elections.
Meanwhile, the election tribunal has rejected the appeal of PPP candidate Aslam Madhiyana on NA-31 Sargodha. He had filed plea against rejection of his candidature.
