IHC hears Musharraf escape case
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard the Pervez Musharrad escape case Tuesday where the deputy attorney general informed the court that the deputy superintendents of police (DSP) has been suspended, Geo News reported.

During the hearing, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqi remarked that interior secretary was ordered to take action against the inspector general and that the DSP should not be held responsible for Musharraf’s escape.

He continued saying the DSP is engaged in selling off his plots so how is it possible for him to discharge his duty here?

Justice Shaukat Aziz inquired that why nobody was present in the hearing to represent the interior secretary.

Pervez Musharraf had managed to escape from the court in the presence of SSP Islamabad and spent a night at his Chak Shahzad farmhouse after the IHC rejected his bail and ordered his dispatch to jail on judicial remand.
