BAHAWALPUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif says he solemnly pardons former president Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf for a “ personal vendetta” if any, but the crimes the former military dictator committed against the nation are too big to be forgiven, Geo News reported.
“President Asif Ali Zardari, can you tell us in what grand way did your party serve the nation in the last five years? You've got nothing to share with us. It’s so unfortunate that being a nuclear power, Pakistan suffers 20-hour long spells of electricity loadshedding on daily basis”, said he in speaking at an electoral rally here.
He said that people of Pakistan were unaware of bomb blasts of power loadshedding PML-N’s previous governments.
“In our heyday, Pakistan was scraping the skies of development and our green flag, always hoisted to the full mast, waved on the top of the world”, said he.
PML-N always preferred national interest to the personal one, said he adding, Pakistan stood in the high in the ranks of countries of repute back in the day.
"Pakistan earned such respect as none of my governments ever extended a hand to beg the world for aid" said Nawaz Sharif.
