Report against IG not submitted Musharraf escape case

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday adjourned the hearing of the Pervez Musharraf escape case until April 29, as the interior ministry failed to present any report against the Islamabad IG, Geo News reported,

During proceedings today, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui remarked that non-compliance of court orders could have negative impacts.

The interior ministry’s section officer Malik Muhammad Ali appeared in the court. Ministry officials informed the court that the Supreme Court’s written orders had not been received and therefore, the reply could not be prepared, besides the documents for legal advice have been sent to the ministry of law.

The hearing was later adjourned until April 29.
